WHITE FLOORS

I know I said last week that I'd have photos of the spare room's progress up soon, but the momentum has been interupted by my snap decision to pull up the laminate floor in there. Underneath it I uncovered the original hardwood floor, which is in need of some TLC but is definitely far preferable to the cheap laminate the insane former owners laid over it. So we'll be yanking the laminate up in our bedroom too and getting to work sanding and painting all the upstairs floorboards over the next couple of weeks. We're going to paint the floors white, so I've collected some inspirational images into a photo set, which you can check out here. I can't wait to have fresh white hardwood floors, but I think I'll be referring to my photo set regularly until the job is done, so that I don't lose my nerve!
