BEFORE & AFTER : HAND PAINTED GEOMETRIC PATTERNED COFFEE TABLE

I've mentioned before that we're in the process of transforming our spare room from a storage space into a den we can use everyday. It's a slow process as we've both been quite busy and so decorating has been sporadic. However, I found myself with some free time over the weekend and got busy DIY-ing a coffee table for the soon-to-be den, and I'm pretty thrilled with the end product!
The coffee table itself is a wreck I got free on Jumbletown, but it was perfect for what I had in mind. I took my inspiration from the €1,600 Gio Ponti-designed "Paolo" console table and Marimekko's Vapaa Pudotus fabric. For the most part I was able to use paints and supplies I already had, so the total cost for this project was a scandalously cheap €13. Check back tomorrow for the full "How to" instructions!
